Spot Welding Robotic Arm

Robotics

The purpose of using a robotic arm in spot welding is to automate the welding process, which improves efficiency, productivity, and quality. Robotic arms are designed to precisely control the position, orientation, and movement of the welding electrode, which results in accurate and consistent welds. The arm can be programmed to weld complex shapes and patterns, which would be difficult to achieve manually. Using a robotic arm also increases safety in the workplace by reducing the need for human intervention in the welding process. The arm can work in hazardous environments, such as high-temperature areas, without risking the health and safety of human workers.

Before building the robotic arm, I have to research the available materials, technologies, and design options to determine the most suitable approach for the project. Then, I have to create a design that meets these requirements and allows for precise control and movement of the welding electrode. A preliminary design for the project is made using the CAD software SolidWorks 2020.l and Electronics Components
