
BengalBoat - Unmanned Surface Vehicle

I served as the Mentor of the BengalBoat team, leading the design, structural development, and assembly of an unmanned surface vehicle (USV) intended for autonomous surface navigation and maritime robotics competitions.
The project aimed to build a lightweight, stable, and sensor-integrated robotic boat capable of autonomous navigation, obstacle avoidance, and mission-based tasks on water surfaces.
Key Responsibilities
Designed the mechanical structure and hull configuration of the autonomous surface vehicle.
Developed mounting systems for propulsion, sensors, and embedded computing hardware.
Ensured proper weight distribution and buoyancy stability to improve navigation performance.
Coordinated with electronics and software teams to integrate navigation sensors, cameras, and control hardware.
Led the fabrication, assembly, and mechanical testing of the vehicle.
Optimized the system for durability, modularity, and field deployment.
